The Travis County Archives is pleased to announce a new transfer of folk art materials acquired by the Austin Friends of Folk Art.

Austin attorney Scott Hendler, Lulu Flores, Stacey Hendler Ross and Roger Ross generously donated the large folk art collection of Harriett Joan Ehrlich, a nationally recognized civil rights advocate and mother to Scott and Stacey, to the the Austin Friends of Folk Art (AFFA) in December of 2017. The pieces were transferred to the Travis County Archives for inventory, processing and preservation, and materials will be placed on exhibit at 700 Lavaca Street in the coming months.
