We will be featuring several of the parks and their unique histories as we lead up to our 14th annual Travis County History Day this fall! ... Originally called Paleface Park, Pace Bend Park has been maintained and managed by Travis County since the late 1970s. The park features 9 miles of shoreline along Lake Travis, limestone cliffs, and a wildlife preserve at the center of the park.
